TUESDAY PLENARY:
CTO Roundtable - NextGen Networks for Tomorrow's Services

Tomorrow's services will be delivered on platforms that bear little resemblance to today's legacy telecom networks. The very idea of a "service" is evolving from simply pushing network power and bandwidth out to the edge, to a hybrid service environment comprised of distributed applications and content delivery.  The technology gambles waged today will determine prospects for success as network and media interests converge. This interactive roundtable will focus on the changes underway at every layer in the service delivery hierarchy. A panel of respected senior industry technologists will share their views on the greatest opportunities and challenges facing our community in delivering on the promises of on demand services, data ubiquity, seamless mobility and more.  Ample time will be included for discussion among the panelists and for questions from attendees.
