JOHAN WESTERBERG
Vice President – National Accounts, Ericsson, Inc., USA

Johan R. Westerberg is the Vice President in charge of the National Accounts Organization at Ericsson Inc, which is headquartered in Plano, Texas. Johan joined Ericsson in 1983 and has been based in Texas since 1987. He is responsible for Ericsson’s business with a number of customers including large Inter-Exchange Carriers and Global Network Operators.

Prior to the current assignment, Johan was the Vice President – Emerging Accounts, where he was responsible for Ericsson Inc’s business with various Global Network Operators, a number of Cellular Operators, and several Local Exchange Carriers.

Prior to this, Johan was the Vice President - RBOCs and Independent Telcos for Ericsson Inc., Network Systems Division, where he was responsible for the wireline business with all the RBOCs (Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, BellSouth, SBC and US West) and a number of independent Local Exchange Carriers including GTE. He has also held the Sales Director position responsible for Cable TV operator accounts.

Johan has held several positions in Marketing, Program Management and Operations, including Program Management and Sales Support responsibilities for telecom projects in several countries in Africa.

He earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Linköping Institute of Technology in Linköping Sweden, specializing in Industrial and International Marketing.
