MALCOLM WARREN,
Managing Director, Asia, ViaSat, Inc., USA

Malcolm Warren is Managing Director, Asia for VSAT Networks at ViaSat Inc.

For the past five years Mr. Warren has been responsible for managing sales and business
development activities in all of Asia, plus regional office operations in China, India and Australia. Mr. Warren has focused his career on International marketing and has vast experience in developing markets for satellite communications, holding senior positions in business development in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

After completing his education in England, and graduating in Computers and Electronics, Mr.
Warren became a Member of the Institute of Electronic Engineers.

His career began in the MOD as a research/development engineer in communications systems. From there, he moved into the video broadcast field, working as a senior engineer for the Independent Television Authority until 1980. At that time he shifted his career to satellite communications marketing, becoming director of European sales and marketing for the
Andrew Corp. He started working for Scientific Atlanta in 1984 and joined ViaSat when the S-A
VSAT Networks group was acquired by ViaSat in 2000.
