JEAN-YVES LE GALL
Chief Executive Officer Arianespace

JEAN-YVES LE GALL is CEO of Arianespace, the world’s leading commercial launch services company. His primary mission is to define the company’s commercial strategy, and to develop and maintain a close relationship with its international clientele. He is also CEO of Starsem, the company’s subsidiary in charge of the Soyuz launch vehicle. 

With his engineering and scientific background, Mr Le Gall has held a number of management positions in France and in Europe. Deputy Director General of CNES in 1996, Chairman and CEO of Starsem in 1998, he joined Arianespace in 2001.

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d’Optique optics engineering school,
Jean-Yves Le Gall also holds a doctorate in engineering from Paris-Sud University.
