KELLY AHUJA
Vice President and General Manager, Core Routing Business Unit
Cisco Systems, Inc.
KELLY AHUJA is Vice President/General Manager of the Core Routing Business Unit (CRBU) at Cisco. In this role, Ahuja leads the development and marketing activities for Cisco's core routing and DWDM optical products as well as ATM multiservice switches and packet voice gateways. He also leads the technical marketing engineering group that focuses on core routing, edge routing and aggregation, as well as multiservice switching and media gateway activities.
Before his current role, Ahuja was VP of Marketing for the Carrier Core MultiService Business Unit at Cisco, where he led the product management and technical marketing organization for Cisco's high-end routing portfolio as well as multiservice switches and media gateways. Before this role, Ahuja served as VP of Marketing at BlueLeaf Networks, a company developing optical switching and transmission systems that use disruptive in-house technology. In this role, he led BlueLeaf's global marketing and business development activities. Before BlueLeaf, Ahuja was director of marketing at Cisco, where he led global marketing efforts for the company's premier high-end routing platform, which includes Cisco 12000 and 12400 series routers. Previously, at Cisco and StrataCom, he led the product marketing team for Cisco IGX 8400. At StrataCom, he served in a major technical marketing role supporting AT&T. While at AT&T Canada, Ahuja led the design and deployment of data and voice networks for several organizations. He also held engineering and analyst positions with Bank of Canada and Telesat Canada, designing, implementing, and supporting data and voice networks.
He is the recipient of numerous customer and technical achievement awards. He received his
bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. |
