KEN ZITA

KEN ZITA is a leading telecommunications management
consultant with field experience in nearly 40 countries (www.ndaventures.com).
In 2006 he was retained to specify U.S. technical assistance to the countries
hit by the 2004 Asian Tsunami, where he designed national strategies for
disaster management and emergency communications. He is also advising
a leading Asian mobile carrier on service innovation. Following 9/11,
he served as principal U.S. policy advisor to Afghanistan where he defined
the policy and industrial blueprint for Afghanistan’s information
infrastructure. Mr. Zita recently managed two U.S. Government regional
conferences covering 18 Southeast and South Asian countries that identified
$16 billion in qualified, unencumbered ICT export opportunities for U.S.
firms. His current speaking and industry advocacy focuses on policy alternatives
for Critical Information Infrastructure Protection, and network and business
transition strategies to IP.
