John Melick is co-founder and currently President of Voyport LLC, an international mobile communications service provider (www.voyport.com ). Between 1994 and 2005, and priot to founding Vyport, Melick served in various capacities at Primus, including Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Primus Telecommunications, Inc., Primus USA Subsidiary, between 2001 and 2005. Melick also served concurrently as corporate Senior Vice President of International Business Development for Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc., and joined the company in 1994 as part of its co-founding executive management team. Before joining Primus, Melick was an executive at MCI between 1990 and 1994, following its acquisition of Overseas Telecommunications Inc., a company he joined in 1987.

Melick holds a B.A. degree from University of Maryland, and an M.S. degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
