PAUL EXCELL is Chief of Operations at BT’s Group Technology Office responsible for ensuring BT’s Innovation and Technology business delivers customer centric solutions for a 21st Century lifestyle. Particular areas of focus are BT’s ground breaking Convergence and Mobility solutions, BT’s £10Bn 21st Century programme, the Global Information Economy and the ‘Dividend’ stakeholders gain from end to end Innovation.

Paul has 27 years experience in the Global Networked Economy covering a wide range of national and international assignments.  Previous to his current role, Paul was Vice President, BT Global Services with end to end responsibility for the design, development, delivery, evolution and launch of BT’s Internet, Data and Voice Services and Solutions. Revenues supported >€3 Billion.

Paul is an alumnus of London Business School. He holds a Masters degree in Information Systems from the University of Essex and a Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York.
