M.2.2
NGN

NGN – Next Generation Networks – was initially coined to refer to the transformation of the core network to IP.  Today, as these benefits have become realized, carriers are now focused on how NGN can build new services and revenues – especially by linking to the core network to subscriber and edge applications and network management.  This session examines the state of NGN and the technologies service providers need to successfully deploy IP services and remain competitive.  Key topics include integrating wireline and wireless platforms to deliver a seamless user experience, IMS, PCMM, and TISPAN. In addition, this session addresses policy and regulatory frameworks for existing services and features likely to be supported on the NGN.
